You will be greeted at the airport upon your arrival in Istanbul and you will have an excellent boat trip on the Bosphorus which is a connector between Asia and Europe.After this panoramic sailing,you will explore Spice Bazaar, smelling oriental scent of the spices. Then,taken to your overnight accommodation.
You will embark on a full day of touring in Istanbul after breakfast. First, we will visit renowned Hagia Sophia (Entrance Included), also known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is accessible from this location. The Byzantine emperor Justinian constructed this magnificent structure as a basilica in the sixth century, and it is regarded as one of the greatest architectural wonders in the world.Next stop is The Sultanahmet Mosque, sometimes called the Blue Mosque and famous for its Iznik (Nicaea) blue tiles and distinctive six minarets.Then, we will have lunch break. After that, you'll proceed to the Hippodrome. Topkapi Palace, the Ottoman sultans' imperial home for more than 400 years, is the next destination after Hippodrome. Visiting the Grand Bazaar, the world's biggest souk with almost 4,000 stores offering antiquities, jewelry, and carpets, will cap off the day.
You will drive to the Istanbul airport for your domestic trip to Ankara after breakfast. You will visit Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's tomb when you get to Ankara.Then,we will have a lunch break. You will depart for Cappadocia after the lunch.When you arrive Cappadocia, you will explore Uçhisar Castle and Pigeon Valley. Overnight stay and dinner at the Cappadocia hotel.
If you want you may start the day by watching the sunrise at hot air balloon. Explore the well-known valleys of Cappadocia after breakfast. The remarkable natural rock structures known as "fairy chimneys" are unique to this location. This magical world of homes, stables, stores, churches, hospitals, and more was sculpted out of soft tufa stone by the Hittites. We will go to the Kaymaklı or Özkonak subterranean reservoir, Devrent, Pasabag for a photo stop and lunch. We will proceed to Avanos valley, watch ceramic making demostration which is special fort his area and you will learn about the thousands of years of foot-lathe pottery produced here. Then, we will marvel at the Göreme outdoor museum. Overnight stay and dinner at the Cappadocia hotel.
You may start the day at sunrise time for baloon watching or a jeep safari. We will leave early for Konya. The Seljuk caravanserai "Sultanhan" from the 13th century will be visited on route. The next destination is Konya, which is well-known for the Mevlana Museum and the Whirling Dervishes' theological seminary. After lunch on the way, proceed to Pamukkale.
After breakfast. you will depart from your accommodation to see Hierapolis which was constructed from a marble quarry.There,you will have some free time for lunch and shopping textile which is special for this area. After lunch, you will travel to Kuşadası. Overnight stay and dinner at Kuşadası.
You will go to the town of Selçuk by car after breakfast. The location where the Virgin Mary is said to have spent her last days will be revealed when you ascend the hills behind Ephesus. The sole surviving column of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is also visible. You will have lunch time in a carpet weaving school.After lunch,you will have a panaromic tour seeing the Basilica of St. John and Isabey Mosque, which dates back to the fourteenth century.Following this trip, you will be picked up by your driver and driven to the ruins of Ephesus, a city that is referenced several times in the Bible. Explore the vastly excavated archeological complex, which includes the Church of the Councils (where two Christian Councils were convened) and the Great Theatre where St. Paul lectured. After the trip, you will go to the airport in Izmir to catch your flight back to Istanbul. We will transport you to your hotel upon your arrival in Istanbul.
